Born in Wakayama-Ken, Japan. Named Nami with the meaning that they wish this child would have many seeds of success and surely
they were right.
1999-2000
Started dance training. Her dancing talents attracted many and her vocal ability was the next step into being a
successfull young artist.
2001-2002
Nami applied for Sony Music Audition and sung the song "Survivor" by Destiny's Child and also "FULL MOON PRAYER" by
CORE OF SOUL (a Jpop/rock band). Nami was accompanied by a nice piano composition during "FULL MOON PRAYER" and her
vocals amazed the judges.

Released her debut single "Believe," consisting of one a-side dance/pop track, and two pop b-sides. "Believe" was the theme
song to the anime Mobilesuit Gundam Seed. The single made an appearance on the Oricon Daily Charts at 5th place selling over
50,000 for that week and being her most successfull single yet.

Released her first remixed single titled "Believe Reproduction~GUNDAM SEED EDITION~"
and ranked 20th on the Oricon charts.

Released second single "Realize," which is another song that tied in with the
anime Gundam Seed. Overall the ranked 3rd
place on Oricon charts selling over 70,000 and being her 3rd best selling single.

In promoting the single "Realize," Nami performed live in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka for free and both events were sucessful.
"Realize," "Believe" and "Hot Summer Day" were the noted tracks she performed at these two events.

The time has come for Nami's BEST Album titled "Graduation~Singles~" releases and the best album has its own unique tie in as a whole.
"Graduation~Singles~" commemorates Nami's High School graduation!! On the same day, Nami does a live event with over 2,000 fans
watching. She performed all her hits in a medley.

This day marks the finale of Nami's BEST Concert tour at Nakano Sun Plaza and the start of the 73 water promotion. Water
bottles with the tag "73" on the front were sold individually at the concert and then after in packs for fanclub
distribution all the way to June.

Nami held a special release event for "Brightdown" at the Ikebukuro Sunshine Fountain location of a public mall. The show
was free and of course attracted many audience. The setlist of this live consisted of: M1. Brightdown M2. Anata iro no

Nami performed at the Miyamae Jr. High School commemorating the school's 60th Anniversary. Nami was the guest and also
performed live.
November 2007 Nami had ANOTHER SCHOOL event which is an event where she performs at various
schools/universities.
December 12, 2007 Nami participated in GAKU MC's "FOOT MARK" live event along with several
other talents. The site www.footmark.tv updated photos of the performance and will be providing more information shortly
such as a setlist.
December 19, 2007 Nami covers another artist work, and this time it is J-Rock legend LUNA SEA.
Nami chooses the song "STORM" to cover for this memorial album that releases.
December 26, 2007 15th Sg "Winter Ballades" releases with the main track "Promise" being a
soothing ballad and Nami's first A-side ballad and ballad PV.
